Dear future mentor,
we are so happy that you would like to support us and the participants at Digitale Welten Festival: Reprogramming Reality. As a mentor, you will work with us from October 7 to 9, 2025 as part of the three-day creative-hackathon process. Together we will develop an interactive and walk-in exhibition, which we will then build at lightning speed, open on Friday, October 10. If you can also help us with this, please let us know in the registration form.
To get to know you a little better, we would ask you to fill in the questions asked during the next steps of your registration!
To work as a mentor, you need an extended police clearance certificate.
We think the certificate of good conduct is important for several reasons:
As a recognized provider of child and youth welfare services, we are legally obliged under § 72a SGB VII to obtain this for volunteers. In addition, protecting participants from (sexualized) violence is extremely important to us. We hope that this measure will deter potential perpetrators. The extended certificate of good conduct only lists offenses that are relevant to child and youth work. We are not informed about other aspects. You can find out how to apply for the certificate and share it with us securely in the email you receive from us after registering.
If you have any further questions or feedback, just send us an email to mentoring@nodeforum.org. We look forward to seeing you!
Our mandatory mentor briefing will take place online via BigBlueButton on Wednesday, September 24, at 18:30. If you are unable to attend, please send us an email.

The hackathon will run from October 7 to October 9. The exhibition opening will take place on the evening of October 10.
