The display chatbot moving on to the next round! This time we talk about why language is so f*** hard and whether there is a way to train Botchen from available data and through automation.

In “How to build a bot from scratch”, Aurelie Herbelot introduced the world’s tiniest chatbot, Botchen, to display. During the first two workshops, we taught Botchen its first chunks of conversation and imagined its different characters and names. The display Botchen has seen 20000 tokens but probably only has a few thousand word types, which is enough to hold short conversations.

But does that mean we have to write dialogues forever until Botchen knows everything we want it to know?
No! Aurelie Herbelot will show us some tricks to speed-up the process and also explain what makes language so complex.
